Our 2011 Cause

Funds raised this year will fund five years of SCKOPING camps, held annually for local children living in families enduring mental illness.

In recent years there has been an increased awareness of the needs of children and families where a parent or caregiver is affected by mental illness. These needs whe re the focus of a Mental Health Promotion and Prevention National Action Plan (1999) released by the National Mental Health Promotion and Prevention Working Party.
